Business Manager
Northern Europe and France
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Sales and margin responsible for the NEF area (Scandinavia, the German speaking countries, France and UK)
- Define and implement the department’s strategy, Business Plans and Sales actions;
- Contribute to the development and realization of the strategies and results of the business unit Northern, Eastern and Western Europe within the MT of the business unit;
- Plan financial aspects of the business, market share and volumes;
- Report progress on main areas of responsibility;
- Coach, motivate, develop, manage and facilitate employees in the NEF area to enable efficient goal realization;
- Maintaining personal contacts with key accounts/contacts, opinion leaders and decision makers in defined markets/segments;
- Involved in internal projects.
- The Business Manager will report to the Director of the Business Unit NEWE
The requirements to fulfill this position successfully are:
- Education on at least Bachelor level;
- A wide, international sales experience, preferably acquired in the horticultural branch of industry;
- A proven ability in people management;
- Sensitiveness to the business cultures and customs of the respective countries;
- Resistant to stress, problem-analytical, entrepreneurial, market and customer oriented;
- Excellent verbal and editorial skills;
- Fluently in English; knowledge of the French and German language is an advantage
