Our candidate is a result oriented person with a strong commercial feeling who ‘smells’ market opportunities. He considers himself a good Grower who enjoys getting the best results with his crops. Candidate has a profound knowledge of all aspects concerning growing like plant physiology, fertilizing/fertilizing products and methods, as well as climate management and other crop-technical aspects. He furthermore has specific knowledge of and experience with the propagation of young plants.
As manager of an Agricultural division in Central America and later as independent owner of his own strawberry production company in Colombia, he acquired much experience in organizing the business in general, operating with and in teams and the management and coaching of people. During his years in these areas, his improvisational skills appeared very useful.
Candidate’s style of leadership is characterized by steering on motivation of the employees by creating a pleasant working atmosphere and an informal culture, whereby he prefers to regard himself as being a member of a team, rather than above the team. In terms of communication his style is ‘to-the-point’, not wasting time with small talk.

Personality:

Our candidate is a serious, thoughtful, driven and result oriented personality with a good sense of humor.
