Working experience:

Our candidate is born and raised in Poland. In Poland she attended an Agricultural University, the base for her later career. Around her 20th year she moved to the Netherlands.
Starting of in the Netherlands as a Sales Representative for a wood importing company she could use her languages skills Russian and Polish, but the job wasn’t challenging enough. She commenced with one of the largest Dutch potato and potato product producers, as assistant to the project director for their new Polish Business Unit, production farm and processing factory. Helping to find the best location, intermediating between the Dutch company on one hand and the Polish farmers and politicians on the other side were her first major tasks. The farm was a 3500ha mixed farming operation, with 1200ha potatoes, 1600ha cereals, 200ha meadows & pastures and a dairy herd of 600. After the initial set up her focus went to the reorganisation of the former state farms, training of the local farmers and the introduction of Dutch potato and dairy production technology.

Four years further on her career path she started with a new initiative, a group of Dutch investors saw opportunities in the Polish dairy industry and commenced a co-operation with a local dairy plant. By improving the used cattle feed management, introduction of a more balanced feed, they tried to increase the milk production.
Our candidate was responsible for all activities in relation with the raw material for the fresh feed (purchase, transport, etc.), advising and training of local staff and the most important task the marketing of mixed fresh feed to local farmers. Lack of financial revenue made investors stop the project.
Back in the Netherlands, she started working in the aviation industry. As a purser, logistic and operational manager on a small aircraft she is part of special missions in among others Congo and Afghanistan. During those missions she developed contacts within the development sector. On a private base she helps and motivates NGO’s and local women groups in Africa and Afghanistan to establish activities to ensure their own income.

Her working procedures are structured and systematic, a practical approach to the job. She ensures an smooth & well functioning organisation, but with respect of the local culture. Where possible she will integrate cultural differences and discrepancies in her planning and approach. Her mediating role in Poland between local farmers, just after the communistic period and the Dutch potato producer are a good example of her mediation and interpretation skills.

An extravert personality, good communicator and listener, these character qualities make her easy to approach. She emanates a calm, but certain and trustworthy expression. A person who builds a network on both personal relations and demonstration of skills.
