Working experience:
Our candidate started his career working in dairy production and was promoted from Assistant Herd Manager to Dairy Project Manager in the space of a couple of years. Since then he has managed a number of dairy farms and projects and more recently has used his management skills in the development of a horticultural project in Bolivia. He has been responsible for the set up and organisation of a new company location for an existing well known Dutch Chrysanthemum producer.
2007-present Function: Independent Consultant

• General Manager - International Chrysanthemum producer- new Bolivia location
o Structuring the organisation, including all production and business processes of a 4.6 Ha propagation farm of Chrysanthemums. 210 employees including administrative staff for HR, Finance, Logistics and Operations.
• Project evaluation – Dairy development programme, Vietnam – affiliate of a Dutch organisation
• Team Leader- Dairy project: collaboration between Belgian and Vietnam governments, Vietnam
o Review a project aimed at increasing dairy production in 5 provinces around Hanoi and strengthen the institutional capacity of the Vietnamese government to develop the dairy sector.
1995-2007 Function: Dairy Development Manager

Personality:
Our candidate is friendly and patient but is very business oriented. He has a hands on mentality and is a problem solver. He is a diplomatic person who has respect for the local culture.
