Working experience:
Our candidate has had a strong career path since finishing her studies in 1994. After graduating she took up a position as a trainee within a large multinational flowers and plants exporter and within 3 months was promoted to wholesale cut flowers account manager responsible for Eastern Europe and Italy. She continued in this function until 2001 when she decided to take a sabbatical and backpack around the Far East and South America for 9 months. In 2002 she returned to the company she was working for before and became Senior Retail Account Manager, being responsible for some of the company¡¦s major retail accounts. She was also responsible for the whole retail department. In 2004 she went to work in Kenya where she is employed by a large Dutch organisation who export contract grown roses from Africa to Aalsmeer to be sold through their own auction organisation as well as through direct sales through supermarkets all over Europe. She has a heavyweight role in this company, managing the flow of product from grower to auction and the direct sales organisation (packed at source).

She is an entrepreneur with perseverance, who likes to take initiative and has proven excellent commercial skills. She is a highly motivated and organised person, with proven leadership skills and works well independently as well as in a team. The combination of her studies and the different positions she has held during her career have given her considerable experience of international trade, logistics and the flower industry. She has also gained experience of other cultures through her travelling and working in other countries and has enjoyed contact with other cultures.

Our candidate is looking for a commercial/logistics, or general management position, in North, South or Middle America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa or Southern Europe.
