Working experience:
Our candidate began his career in India working in crop research and subsequently worked at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University as a professor for 5 years. He also carried out a sabbatical in Saudi Arabia for a short period of time, working as a consultant to the Agricultural Ministry. In 2001 he moved to Australia where he carried out his Ph. D, as well as working part time as a consultant to a large nursery, where he developed a nutrient management programme as well as other activities. In late 2005 he moved to Canada where he initially worked on a research project in the Plant Agriculture department at the University of Guelph but subsequently moved to the largest greenhouse research facility in Canada where he currently works as a project manager, looking after a number of practical and technical projects such as Greenhouse Organic Production Methods. Our candidate has a mix of significant technical knowledge with the hands on experience gained by carrying out growing projects on a large scale.
2006-present Function: Greenhouse industry project manager
